Inflation Due to Food Delivery Apps
Everyone is complaining about inflation, but no one is talking about inflation due to food delivery apps. There is a class-action lawsuit accusing DoorDash, GrubHub, Postmates and Uber Eats of price-fixing.
They claim that by requiring participating restaurants to sign oppressive contracts that limit what they can charge for their food, the apps are essentially forcing restaurants to inflate their prices.

Canned cocktails are everywhere now. Three years ago when I went to the Savannah Food and Wine Festival, I drank a lot of canned cocktails. The convenience is great, but the taste can be inconsistent. Eater writes about canned cocktails.
Canned cocktails are unbalanced — always too sweet or too acidic — to really give you the satisfaction you’re looking for when trying to unwind with a cocktail.
