Hello!
May I take your order?! I am reading a fascinating book about the history of McDonald’s franchises and the Black community. I am 40 pages in and I taking note like a college student. I highly recommend getting Marcia Chatelain’s book, Franchise: The Golden Arches in Black America.
Here’s an article from Slate.com

This book reminds me slightly of an article Jasmine Sanders wrote about Black people and fur that was in the New York Times. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/01/31/style/fur-black-women-history.html?fbclid=IwAR1OsU0HSQs7WaWlAKu8z8sov9wJTBKkd4zwdF7fx3stg9u007io7BEjo1o
Have a good week!
