I am not superstitious. I am not sure about karma. However, I do think that I am lucky.
Feeling lucky has made me reckless in the past. Now I am more careful. Thankfully I haven’t become boring in the process. To me, self care is more about self curation. You can choose what you want in your life. Someone asked me if I am content. That’s a tricky question. The questioner was really asking me how if I am complacent which is not the same thing. I am content. Things could be better but I love getting up and getting my day started. I like my job. I like where I live. I love living in Savannah. I love my friends. Isn’t this what contentment looks like?
Hope you are finding content and happiness. I am back to listening to the podcast, Happier with Gretchen Rubin. I met Gretchen about a decade ago when her book, The Happiness Project” was published.
