Pecans are coming out of their shell as they are growing in popularity not only in the United States but also in China. The U.S. currently produces 80% of the world’s pecan crops and pecans are mostly grown in the South.

Tried and Tasted
I am calling it “Dollar Tree Sherbet”. I bought a can of canned mango and I pour the mango slices with the syrup in a pint container and put in the freezer. A few days later, I took out the container and let it thaw a little just so that I could easily put into my food processor. I added two tablespoons of sweet condensed milk. The sherbet turned out great, and I am doing peach sherbet next.
