My Week of Eating A Lot of Good Food
Starting with a surprise invitation last Wednesday by Clay Williams to have dinner at The Grey and ending with my trip to New York I have eaten so much good food that my stomach is still partying.
Here’s a bulleted list of some of the food and drink I ate.
Chapulines (cricket) tacos

Read a Sweet and Hopeful Memoir
Christina Tosi spoke at Cherry Bombe, and I bought her book. It is a nice respite from the news, and I agree that Dessert Can Save The World.

Mezcal of The Month Club
My friend Mark is a member of this Mezcalero of the Month club and I got to taste a lot of small batch mezcal.
Know These Women
I attended Cherry Bombe Jubilee and listened to great women talk about food and career. Adrienne Cheatham, Cheryl Day, Hetty McKinnon, Pilar Valdez, Sicily Sierra, Caroline Schiff, Fany Gerson, Rachael Ray and more. I didn’t take the best notes because it was the first conference I have been to in nearly three years, and I was kinda anxious. It was fun!
